Description

    Schneider Electric LRD16 TeSys LRD Thermal Overload Relays is a protective device used in electrical circuits to prevent overheating of motors or other electrical components. 9-13A is the range of current that the thermal overload relay is designed to handle. In this case, it can protect against overcurrent conditions in the range of 9 to 13 amperes.

    Class 10A is the tripping class of the thermal overload relay. It defines the time it takes for the relay to trip in case of an overload. Class 10A relays are designed to trip within a relatively short time period under overload conditions. It typically trips within 10 seconds when subjected to an overload condition that is 7-10 times the full-load current.

    Class 10A relays are commonly used in applications where a fast-tripping response is required to protect against overheating and damage, but where a small degree of overload is acceptable for short durations. This is often the case in situations where a motor or equipment might experience short-term surges during normal operation.
