Description
Schneider Electric LRD340 TeSys LRD Thermal Overload Relay is a protective device used to prevent overheating of electric motors. It works by monitoring the current passing through the motor and, if it detects an overload condition (too much current), it will trip and disconnect the power to the motor.
30-40A is the range of current that the thermal overload relay is designed to handle. It means it's suitable for motors with a current draw between 30 and 40 amperes.
