Schneider Electric LRD3355 TeSys LRD Thermal Overload Relay is a protective device used in electrical systems to prevent motors or other equipment from overheating and potentially causing damage or starting a fire. It monitors the current flowing through the motor and trips if it exceeds a certain threshold for an extended period of time.
30-40A is the current range the thermal overload relay is designed for. This makes it suitable for motors with a current draw between 30 and 40 amps. Class 10A is the thermal overload relay trip class. The trip class defines how quickly the relay responds to an overload condition. In this case, Class 10A means that the relay will trip if the current exceeds the specified threshold within 10 seconds.
Schneider Electric LRD3355 TeSys LRD Thermal Overload Relay is used in applications where the normal operating current of the motor is in the range of 30-40 A and a relatively quick response to overloads (within 10 seconds) is required to protect the motor.
