Schneider Electric LA1KN22 TeSys K Auxiliary Contact Block is an important component in electrical control circuits and is commonly used in conjunction with contactors or relays. It is an additional set of contacts that can be added to a primary switching device to perform auxiliary functions. These contacts are operated by the same electromagnet or mechanism that controls the main contacts.
2NO + 2NC is the auxiliary contact block that has two Normally Open contacts and two Normally Closed contacts. Normally Open (NO) contacts are in an open state when no external force is applied to them. When the coil is energized (in a relay or contactor), the contacts close, allowing the flow of electric current.
Normally Closed (NC) contacts are in a closed state when no external force is applied to them. When the coil is energized, the contacts open, breaking the flow of electric current. Screw Terminals are the connection points on the contact block where wires are attached. The screws can be loosened to insert the wire and then tightened to secure it in place. This is a common method of making electrical connections.
