Schneider Electric ESM25N Switched Socket With Neon is a specific type of electrical outlet commonly used in the UK and some other countries that follow British electrical standards. The socket has a switch that can be used to control the flow of electricity to the outlet. It turns off power to devices that are plugged in. There is an indicator light (neon light) on the switch which shows whether the socket is currently supplying power. 

13A is the current rating of the socket, which means it's designed to handle up to 13 amperes of electrical current. 250V is the voltage rating of the socket, which means it's designed to handle up to 250 volts of electrical potential. There are two individual outlets in one unit. This is useful for plugging in multiple devices at the same location.
