Schneider Electric E8231D20N 1 Gang Double Pole Switch With Neon is an electrical switch commonly used for higher current applications. 1 Gang is the switch that has one set of switches in a single unit. It can control one set of electrical connections. The switch has two separate sets of contacts that can be used to control two independent circuits.

Each pole can control a separate live wire. The switch includes a small indicator light that illuminates when the switch is turned on.
