Description
Schneider Electric TM3DI16 Discrete Input Module is part of the Modicon TM3 range of I/O expansion modules for Modicon controllers. It consists of 16 logic inputs and is powered by 24V DC. It is equipped with a removable screw terminal block and can be mounted on a 35mm symmetrical DIN rail. This digital I/O module complements the integrated I/O of the Modicon M221, M221 Book, M241, and M251 logic controllers. There is isolation between output and supply at 1500 VAC and output and internal logic at 500 VAC.
The discrete input module has a removable spring terminal for electrical connection with a 3.81 mm pitch for the inputs. It has an IP20 certification. Its dimensions are 23.6 mm (width) x 70 mm (depth) x 90 mm (height) and has CE certification. Complies with EN/IEC 61131-2 and EN/IEC 61010-2-201 standards. This module is compatible with Modicon M262, Modicon M241, Modicon M251, and Modicon M221 logic controllers. Supports DIN rail type TH35-15, DIN rail type TH35-7.5 according to IEC 60715 and plate or panel mounting with mounting kit.
Modicon TM3 expansion modules are designed with a simple interlocking mounting mechanism. When assembling Modicon TM3 modules with logic controllers, a bus expansion connector is used for data distribution and power supply.
