Schneider Electric BMEP582040H Processor Module is part of the Modicon M580 series, a range of programmable automation controllers (PAC) and programmable logic controllers (PLC) with integrated Ethernet. This processor module offers a maximum of 4 rack configurations and 72 application-specific channels. It is a processor module with a current consumption of 270mA at 24V DC. Supports 2048 analog, 512 discrete, and 64 distributed devices local I/O channels. It can be used in harsher environments and can operate in an extended temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
The Processor Module is integrated with Ethernet TCP/IP for the service port, 2 Ethernet TCP/IP for device networking, Ethernet for the HSBY port, and USB Type Mini B for connections. It offers 600,000 hours of MTBF and it has 8 to 2 racks per remote station for the I/O station. It has a built-in RAM of 8 MB for programs, 768 KB for data, 10 KB for system memory, and an expandable 4 GB flash memory for data storage. It has an IP20 certification.
