Rakam Rak Acryseal 401 Mastic Sealant

RAK ACRYSEAL is a permanent, flexible sealant for a wide variety of internal applications where low (+/-5%) movement is anticipated. Excellent adhesion to most substrates. RAK Acryseal 401 is a one-component, acrylate-based, moisture-curing sealant. It is formulated to provide excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates. It is a fast-curing, low-odor, non-sagging sealant that is easy to apply. It is a versatile product that can be used for a variety of applications, including sealing joints, gaps, and cracks in concrete, masonry, and other construction materials.

Properties

RAK ACRYSEAL, Acrylic Flexible Filler is a non staining, sealant that resists cracking and gives a smooth finish that requires no sanding.

Application

Reseal container for storage and re-use. Store away from extreme heat and cold.
Joint sizes more than 20 mm wide or 10 mm deep must be filled with backing rod as a back-up filler. Do not use for below waterline applications. Do not use as a putty. Do not apply when temperature is below 7°C

Caution

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Only use in well-ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children.

Health & Safety

As with all chemical products, caution should always be exercised. Protective clothing, such as gloves and goggles, should be worn (see packaging for specific instructions). Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately. Should any of the product be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting but call for medical assistance immediately. Ensure the container is available for the medical attendant to examine any relevant instructions and contents details. Reseal all containers after use and ensure product is stored as instructed on the safety section of the labelling.
