Description
PU SEMIGLOSS SC/50 CLEAR is a transparent polyurethane varnish based on poly – functional saturated polyester resins, to provide smooth finish with good covering properties and excellent hardness.Â
Major Uses:
PU SEMIGLOSS SC/50 CLEAR is excellent for wood furniture such as beds, cabinets, chairs, sofas, doors and frames.
Surface Preparation:
- The surface to be top coated should be primed with either polyurethane or polyester primer.
- It should be cleaned, well – sanded and free from dust, oil water and other contaminants.
- To a well – prepared surface, apply 1 – 2 coats of P.U. SEMIGLOSS SC/50 CLEAR, horizontally and vertically.
- To obtain a perfect finish coat, sand it again with a very fine sand paper and repeat the top coating process
Storage:
Shelf life of 12 months minimum if stored below 250C.
Cleaning of Tools:
All tools should be cleaned with Wash Thinner or PU Thinner # 105 as soon as possible.
Precautions:
P.U. SEMIGLOSS SC/50 CLEAR and Catalyst # 034 do not contain dangerous solvents, nevertheless, good ventilation in working rooms is recommended as well as the use of safety tools and equipment. P.U. SEMIGLOSS SC/50 CLEAR is flammable and harmful if swallowed. If contact with eyes or skin occurs, wash well with fresh water and seek immediate medical advise

| Recoating | One coat may be sufficient for ordinary finish however; one additional coat can be applied wet on wet if necessary. Light sanding with 400 ~ 600 mesh sand paper is recommended before subsequent coat when recoating time exceeds 3 hrs. and remove traces of wax. |
